Paint Lake Resort wants your feedback

September 23, 2014 7:30 AM | Anonymous

Welcome

Check us out on Facebook for Daily Specials!

With the beauty of fall well on its way, we wanted to take this opportunity to connect with the Paint Lake Community and re-introduce ourselves.

We bought the Resort almost 9 years ago and business has definitely had its up’s and down’s but we absolutely love it here and always look forward to seeing our regular customers and obviously welcoming new ones.  We truly believe we offer friendly service with our wonderful staff and quality food for reasonable prices.  We are also faced with a few obstacles due to being in a Provincial Park; the campground closing early and the dock’s coming out so early and because we operate independently we do not have the advantage of volume purchasing like fast food franchises.  We also cannot purchase fuel in mass quantities like major gas stations but we do the best we can with our pricing and continue to offer it as a convenience with the hopes that it will encourage you to visit our establishment.   However, customer’s happiness is what makes a business successful and that brings us to the point of this letter, we want to see more of the Paint Lake residents in our restaurant.

We’ve talked to some of the folks that live out here and did get some feedback on what would entice people to stop by and we’ve taken them to heart and will be incorporating different specials on a regular basis.  We haven’t always been able to offer consistent hours of operation due to the same staffing issues that businesses in Thompson suffer from but people have always been able to reach us on the phone when they were in need of gas or something from the store.   That’s the type of small community service we have always prided ourselves on.  We really want to be able to continue to provide our current hours of operation but the reality is that it take’s customers to keep the doors open.  We’d love to hear from more of the Paint Lake residents to find out what we could do to benefit them in the long winter months.  We are hoping you can take the time to fill out the attached form and suggest some new ideas so that we can provide what you are looking for in a restaurant/lounge/store.

Sincerely,

Rick & Brenda Leger
