The PLCOA is trying to get some work done at the Redman park walking trail on August 26th (Saturday) at Noon. We would like to get the trail cleared of debris and hopefully get some base to put down around the trail. The thought would be then to have a BBQ at the Community hall for supper and drinks afterwards.
If your interested and able to help out please get in contact with Troy Steeves: firstname.lastname@example.org / 204-679-3515 or Stephen Barlow: email@example.com / 204-573-9414 and leave your contact information with us. We need to get a confirmation of numbers so that we can arrange enough food and tasks for the day. A list of any equipment/tools that you might have would be handy as well.
This park is our home and it says a lot about the community on how the upkeep of the area is kept. If this is successful we would like to arrange other work projects to tackle around the park in the future.
If you have any suggestions or comments please feel free to get a hold of one of our board members or send us an email.
